Sushant joined Shiamak Davar’s dance academy, because he was always the prolific dancer.
He even joined a theatre group to hone his acting skills.
While doing theatre, Sushant was spotted.
He was cast in a TV serial under the Balaji banner.
But his big break on TV came when he landed the role of Manav, in Pavitra Rishta.
The serial gave him fame, fortune and a world of opportunities.
From TV, Sushant moved on to bigger things.
He landed a spot on dance reality TV show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2010.
The show boosted his popularity, and brought him film offers.
Among the first few offers, Sushant landed a dream role in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che!
Sushant was much appreciated, both for his good looks and his acting chops.
His second feature was a YRF big-budget film, Shuddh Desi Romance
Since then, Sushant has signed on several big films.
In his kitty is the Rajkumar Hirani directorial, P.K. opposite Aamir Khan.
Post that, he has Dibakar Banerjee’s Detective Byomkesh Bakshi lined up.
Sushant will also be seen as the lead in Shekhar Kapur’s Paani.
