Song Review: Jumme Ki Raat From Kick – Salman Khan Rocks!!

Its fun, its foot tapping its mesmerizing; well we are talking about the song Jumme Ki Raat from Salman Khan starrer Kick.

After making his fans go crazy with the trailer on his film Kick, Salman Khan is back with a band with the first song of the film titled Jumme Ki Raat.
The song, starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez is very foot tapping, has amazing beats and will be on everyone playlist. Shot in grunge style, Salman Khan looks draper dressed in a red laether pant and half jacket, shows off typical Salman dance moves.

Jumme Ki Raat has been sung by Mika Singh and Palak Muchhal with Himesha Reshmmiya setting the right tone.
“The song Jumme Ki Raat is a treat for all the fans of Salman. It is shot in the underground style on a very big scale. We have tried to give it the edgy and grungy feel. The entire team of the song has done a fabulous job of putting this together with interesting visuals,” Sajid Nadiadwala said in a statement.
Choreographed by Ahmed Khan, the song was shot in a suburban studio here. Kick which also stars Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles, is slated to release on Eid this year.

 A couple of days ago, Alia was using crutches while promoting her movie in New Delhi.

 But, she seemed to be in good spirits.

 Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania

 The film is a complete filmy love story," Alia Bhatt told reporters at the launch function.

 Also, the film is tribute to "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" (DDLJ) and Karan, who had a small part in the 1995 blockbuster as Shah Rukh Khan's character's fan and also assisted director Aditya Chopra, says every filmmaker wants to have at least one frame of DDLJ in their film.

 But Karan clarified that Shashank Khaitan's directorial venture is not a copy of Shah Rukh-Kajol starrer.

 He said: "I was the assistant director with DDLJ. I have the best memories with this film. It ('Humpty....') is an epic love story and it's not a copy of that film. It's a different film and I feel every filmmaker wants to have at least one frame in their film from the beautiful film DDLJ."

 The event started with an act by Varun who is looking for his 'dulhania' (bride) and Alia makes her entry with the traditional 'band, baaja and baraat'.

 Karan Johar's HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA, directed by Shashank Khaitan, stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt and is all set to release on July 11, 2014.
