Deepika Padukone Gives A Kick To Salman For SRK

Deepika Padukone has been riding high on success after
giving four back to back blockbusters last year. The leggy lass has
definitely made a mark in Bollywood and with the list of upcoming
projects she has in her hand, the astounding Diva is definitely here to
stay for long.

But certain rumours surrounding Deepika gives a clear notion that the
actress is in a little turmoil. Industry is buzzing with news of
Deepika giving a miss to an item song in Salman Khan starrer Kick, which
she initially agreed to do. The reason of not shaking her leg with
Salman Khan is to avoid a conflict of interests of sorts with SRK‘s home
production.

Well Deepika evidently has been sending feelers to work with Salman
in media and now when she has a chance, the glamorous babe of Bollywood
will have to give it a miss.

It though keeps us wondering that has she opted out of the song to
keep her loyalties straight with SRK, or she is just playing safe and
doesn’t want to endeavour risk at the peak of her career. Not to forget
Deepika gained her ticket to Bollywood by starring opposite Shah Rukh
Khan in 2007′s blockbuster hit Om Shanti Om. SRK still owns the title
for Deepika Padukone of “who’s your daddy,” and maybe that is one of the
speculated reason Deepika chose SRK over Salman Khan.

SRK and Deepika Padukone recently have delivered mega blockbuster hit
Chennai Express which seemingly gave a push to Deepika‘s career, and
now again they will be seen sharing screen space together in 2014′s much
awaited film Happy New Year. Deepika will also be doing a raunchy item
number in Happy New Year.

We wish the leggy lass of Bollywood surely gets a chance in future to
work with Salman, till then she can enjoy shaking her leg with her
former co-star Shah Rukh Khan.

Snapshots: Sunny Leone in Bollywood_Part_3

Adult Star Sunny Leone is excited for her movie Ragini MMS2 but who will be on her opposite it’s still not decided and the chasing is still on. Watch the video to know more.
The Jism2 star Sunny Leone raised the temperature in summer with her sizzling performance on 70 mm and now she is all set to once again bring back the hot temperature this winter with her fist item song… in Suny Deol starrer flick Singh Saheb The Great.
Adult entertainment star Sunny Leone, who will be making her Bollywood debut with Pooja Bhatt helmed Jism 2, might be famous across the globe as a porn star, but the sultry siren now wants to give up acting in such films for an year as she wants to focus on her Bollywood career, it seems.
In a recent interview, Leone was quoted saying that she is going to be busy with her Bollywood projects for an year and as such, will quit acting in porn films till then. She however added that her banner will continue to make adult entertainment films, though she wouldn't be starring in them.
In Jism 2, Sunny Leone will be seen playing the role of Izna, a porn star, who is roped in by an intelligence agent to entrap an elusive assassin, played by Randeep Hooda.
Sunny Leone may be at home in USA, but her red hot sizzling shots are setting the mercury levels soar in Bollywood.
She says that she is missing home - her friends and her dogs and is just waiting for the shoot to get over.
But that does not stop her from adding oomph to a few last shots before leaving Sri Lanka. The movie will hit screens in the first week of August.
For those waiting with bated breath to catch Sunny in 'action', it could well be an agonising wait indeed before the final cut makes it to the theatres.
After the long shooting schedule, it is wrap up time for the team of Jism 2. And the leading lady Sunny Leone is one restless girl.

Simran Kaur Mundi: Happy to be eye candy in KUKU MATHUR

Two and a half years after making an impressive debut in romantic drama
JO HUM CHAHEIN, pretty young woman and former Miss India Simran Kaur
Mundi is all set to back on the big screen for a Bollywood film with
KUKU MATHUR KI JHAND HO GAYI. Designed as a fun affair, as is apparent
from the promos so far, the film features debutant Siddharth Gupta in
the title role.

With the film dealing with the life and times of a young boy who has
quite a few dates with regular 'jhands' in his everyday life, one
wonders how does Simran fit into the scheme of things as the leading
lady.

"Well, I am obviously the love angle in the film. So whenever I come
on screen, I hope it's a delight for the audience as I think I look
pretty decent. I don't mind admitting that I am happy to be an eye candy
in the film," smiles Simran, who would also be seen in a Punjabi film
MUNDEYAN TOH BACHKE RAHIN, which releases on the same day as KUKU
MATHUR....

While in her debut film JO HUM CHAHEIN, Simran had enjoyed her song
and dance routine with celebration numbers to add on as well, she would
be continuing to entertain in this Ekta Kapoor and Bejoy Nambiar
production as well.

"The songs are fantastic here too, though the movie does not have
dances like other Bollywood outings. Since the film is a light quirky
comedy, the songs too are in synch with the same mood," she says.

With the Aman Sachdeva-directed film all set to release on 30th May,
it would be good to see Simran returning to the big screen and spread
some sunshine all over again.

Snapshots: Sunny Leone in Bollywood_Part_1

Sunny, an Indo-Canadian adult film actress, who has paved her way into Bollywood via TV, films and item numbers, is hosting the show for the first time.

She says she is content as long as people watch her films and buy the products she endorses.
"It is fine with me as long as people are buying the brands (endorsed by me) or watching my movies," she added.
"It is a known fact that the fight has already begun with Censors who felt that Sunny's sizzling act was Randeep Hooda was way too much to digest. Bhatts could afford to tone it down for the TV promos since internet was always there for their rescue. However they can't show the entire film on internet, right? Let's see in what shape and format does the film make it to the big screen," a source adds.
"This has to be the boldest ever promo coming from a reputed production house," comments a leading distributor who is mighty confident about the film's prospects but is wondering how much of the 'jism', pun intended, would eventually make it to the big screen, "It was a given that with porn-star Sunny Leone in lead and a brand like JISM, Pooja Bhatt would go all out in projecting the film for what it indeed is. However the promo has been beyond imagination."
"Arunoday is a goofball, we would have so much fun on the sets and laugh and play and then be very serious for the scenes and as soon as it was over and Pooja was happy with that cut, we used to give each other a high-five (laughs)," said Sunny, about Singh.
Indo-Canadian adult star Sunny Leone will mark her debut in Bollywood with Pooja Bhatt's Jism 2 and the actress is all praise for her co-stars Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda.
Sunny reveals that while Hooda is a serious actor, Arunoday is more fun.
"Randeep is a very serious actor and he is very dedicated to his job, he gets you in the mood before you are in the mood because he is so much into his character, which is a good thing. It's rarely that you see somebody like that," said the 31-year-old star.
Sunny Leone is sure setting the screen on fire. She shares a sizzling liplock with Randeep Hooda in Jism 2.

Whether it is stepping into the pool, lying on the bed or walking seductively in a party, Sunny has gone all out in ensuring that her anatomy is up for display in full view. Now even though it is just a song that has been unveiled, there is already a debate around the long battle that Pooja and Mahesh Bhatt would have to fight now for the film's 'uncut' release in theatres.

Finding Deepika Padukone for FINDING FANNY

Where is Deepika Padukone? Well, seems like it is pretty much going to
be the case of 'Finding Deepika' during coming few months, what with her
next Hindi film, FINDING FANNY, releasing only in the month of
September. For an actress who had dominated 2013 all through from RACE
to RAM-LEELA with YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI and CHENNAI EXPRESS in
between, it is going to be a 10 month long break from the big screen.

Though FINDING FANNY, which is presented by Fox, was expected a
little earlier, it is now coming in the month of September. This is
almost a year since RAM-LEELA. Interestingly, both films feature not
just Deepika but also Ranveer Singh, albeit in a cameo.

Deepika is keeping busy though. While her shoot for HAPPY NEW YEAR is
inching towards a close, she would soon be facing the camera for Imtiaz
Ali's TAMAASHA with Ranbir Kapoor. Moreover, she would be reuniting for
a full-fledged part with Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's
BAJIRAO MASTANI. Meanwhile, her motion capture 3D computer-animated
period film KOCHADAAIYAAN releases next Friday too.

"As for a feature film outing though, FINDING FANNY is going to be
special for Deepika since it is based on a road trip set in Goa, with
dialogues in English as well as Hindi," comments a senior crew member,
"This is a unique outing for Deepika and with actors as diverse as Arjun
Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapur joining her,
the wait of 10 months would definitely be worth it."

When we tried contacting Deepika, we couldn't 'find' her. Guess she
would be available when the journey of FINDING FANNY begins. Pun
intended.

Mastram: Wistful look at a porn-writers life

Film: "Mastram";

 Cast: Rahul Bagga, Tara Alisha;

 Directed by Akhilesh Jaiswal;

 Rating: *** (3 stars)

Once upon a time, pornography was read in the loo, not seen on the internet. The imagination soared. Just think of how much money a man could make in the 1970 or 1980s by penning porn for a drooling generation.
Unzip those inhibitions, will ya?
If in "Mastram", you expect a Boogie Nights kind of all-encompassing panoramic peek-a-boob...sorry boo, at the porn industry, then you are in for an anti-climax. "Mastram" chronicling the life-story of a man who would be kink (y), is a sad, glum, wistful look at the life of litterateur who was persuaded to give porn a chance, just to make ends meet.
Director Akhilesh Jaiswal lets the porn writer Rajaram, aka Mastram, played by Rahul Bagga, grow within a space where sex is a synonym for survival. He must write dirty books to make a living. In Guru Dutt's "Pyaasa", the poet Vijay faced the same dilemma. Write pulp, or perish, he was told. Vijay preferred to perish.
Rajaram is a product of consumerist culture. With creditors knocking down his door, he chooses a life after debt.
For those expecting to see the rise and fall (and I don't mean that in any other but the most physical sense) of a generation fed on porn, "Mastram" is not your cup of tea. It never goes into the author's libidinous craft. It stays in his mind, probes and punctuates the protagonist's perverse practice dispassionately.
There is a pronounced absence of frenzied excitement in the narrative. If seen as a mating game, then "Mastram" is a lazy evening of half-hearted copulation. We get to meet the man behind the orgasms. We feel the pain beneath the porn. Director Akhilesh Jaiswal tears at the layers of titillation and touches the pain and loneliness of an artiste compelled to sell sex when all he wants is to write literary works.
Rahul Bagga plays Mastram with an an air of boyish curiosity and impassive mystery. We never know what he is thinking maybe because he isn't thinking hard. Could this man be faking his enthusiasm for erotica? We never touch the man's soul but feel its presence in his life and specially in his bond with his wife, played with understated grace by Tara Alisha.
Underscored by a sense of tragedy, "Mastram" brings a meditative melancholy to the porn writer's life.

Candid moments from IIFA 2014_Part_6

Priyanka Chopra, who has been making space for herself in the international music scene, is here to be part of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) celebrations. She's glad that the event celebrates the country and its cinema abroad.

The four-day extravaganza began Wednesday and will culminate with the awards ceremony Saturday. Priyanka is sure it will be a one "magical blockbuster weekend". "I am excited to be here. I have been to Miami several times, but it is the first time that I have come to Tampa Bay and I love it. I feel we Indians have invaded the city," Priyanka said here. "This is going to be blockbuster weekend - it will be magical. It is important to tell people how our cinema transcends borders and reaches people. It is celebration of India, Indian cinema," said the National award-winning actress, who was in New York before she flew to Tampa Bay.

A press conference here saw Priyanka with Anil Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha.
