in films. From Aishwarya to Madhuri and Kareena, our B-town stars have
flaunted some of the most expensive costumes onscreen.
While SRK wore a suit in Ra 1, which costs a million dollars, Kareena Kapoor’s little black dress in Kambakkht Ishq costed a whooping Rs. 8 million.

SRK’s
G-one costume was made for a whooping Rs. 1 crore. The electric blue
costume, constructed by a group of experts from Los Angeles, gave a
perfect sci-fi effect to Shahrukh’s character in the film.
Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri’s outfits in Devdas,
was a combined effort by designers Neeta Lulla, Reza Sharifi, Abu Jani
and Sandeep Khosla. With each dress costing Rs. 15 lakhs, the costumes
sported exquisite embroidery, glamour and class.
Aishwarya Rai
Neetu Lulla designed Ash’s clothes in Jodha Akbar with precious and semi precious stones. Each of these costumes had a hefty price tag of Rs.2 Lakhs.
Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi’s lehenga in the song Radha Nachege from Tevar was worth Rs.75 lakhs.
Salman Khan
Salman Khan had six specially designed armours for him for
his period film Veer - each costing a whopping Rs. 20 Lakh.
Mallika Sherawat
For
a New Year performance in Mumbai, actress Mallika Sherawat wore a
single nude jumpsuit with diamond studded bikini top, for which she
faced a lot of criticism.
